Drunk Elephant Serum Review

Earlier this year, I purchased a set of Drunk Elephant's Mini Day serums. It included a miniature C-Firma Serum and a miniature B-Hydra Intensive serum. It is yo girl emilia, and I am here to tell you if it is a bang for your buck.

 B-Hydra Intensive Serum

This serum has a long name that I DON'T want to keep type, again and again, so we are calling it the BHI serum. The BHI serum was my favorite of the two. In a skincare routine, you use a cleanser, toner, and then serums. Using this serum really helped my skin during the dry winter months. I really liked the feel of it, it wasn't too heavy and I liked how it felt on my face. The BHI serum added a nice layer of hydration before you covered your face with moisturizer.

I didn't find the smell to be too bad, I wasn't bothered by it. Why am I concerned with the smell? You will figure out below, dear reader. Anyways, if I were to repurchase either of these serums to use again, I would buy the BHI serum. I noticed that my skin felt a lot smoother when I added it into my skin routine.

C-Firma Serum

*sigh* I HATE THE SMELL OF THIS!! I kid you not, I felt like I was rubbing a wet quarter all over my face. I understand that the minerals and vitamins may give off a weird smell, but I hated applying this and realizing that the disgusting smell all over my hands and chest was from my serum and I couldn't wash it off.

This serum is a lot more different than the BHI serum because it is just used to "wake up" your skin, just give it a boost of vitamin C. I did not feel much of an improvement with my skin when I applied this serum. Whomp Whomp :(

wow i can't believe I spelled hydration
wrong,
super sorry
Overall, I enjoyed testing these 2 serums out and figuring out which one would I like to add to my skincare routine. Drunk Elephant is one of the most popular (and pricier) skincare lines that I recommend. I enjoyed using their products (or at least one) and I love the look and functionality of their packaging. The real life size of these two serums is pretty pricey. The BHI serum is $52 regular size and the Vitamin C serum in $80. I honestly think the BHI serum is worth it, but not necessarily for the C serum. As always, you don't have to have the most expensive products to have a good skincare routine. Whatever keeps your skin healthy and happy, that is the goal.

Thank you for reading this small review! I got a lot of love from my Top skincare products of 2018 and I wanted to give you my opinion on Drunk Elephant's serums.

This blog post is in no way sponsored by Drunk Elephant (lol, I wish), leave your comments down below about your favorite serums in your skincare routine!

love,
yo girl emilia
