Travel guide: Los Angles #2- Venice
Hello everyone! It is yo girl emilia and after lots of feedback, a lot of you wanted me to make some more Los Angeles travel guides! I am so happy that you guys like them, so this one is going to be about Venice. Let's dive in, shall we?
Where to eat in Venice, California
Venice is a very diverse and awesome place to eat. There are all sorts of restuarants that make Venice, Venice. Venice has been changing recently these past couple of decades, changing with character and more and more people started moving and making it very special. That also means that the food is delicious!
Flake
This is a awesome small restaurant that I have been going ever since I have been in LA. It is mostly known as a breakfast and brunch place, with everything to acacia bowls to and English breakfast. It has a cool atmosphere and is a great place to stop by if you are ever in a hurry. My personal favorite is the Nutty Monkey, which is a English muffin with bananas, peanut butter and a hint of nutella inside. Another awesome thing is that everything on the menu is relatively cheap! The address and website is below, this restaurant is located on Rose Avenue. 🌹

Tocaya Organica Venice
This is a place that is relatively new and it is honestly really good! This is a Mexican place that honestly looks very modern and millennial. Usually here in Houston whenever you go to a Mexican restaurant, the place is decked out with sombreros, Mexican paintings, and other things that add to the feeling. But this place is super cool looking, it looks like a place where you would get juice cleanse juices or hipster acai bowls, but in reality they have yummy tacos. One of the great things about this place is that some of the tacos are vegan and others are gluten free! I tried mostly all of them and they all had really good flavor.

Rose Cafe
This is another cool place to go on Rose Avenue and it is a restaurant that has lots of cool entrees and desserts. One of the things that I love about this place is the interior decoration. It has brick walls covered with painted roses. They also have gorgeous plants that hang from the ceiling that create a fresh feeling. Go check it out!

What to go see in Venice, California
Venice has a couple of awesome places to go hangout and see. These are great places to shop, get some more awesome food, and soak in the Venice Vibe.
Abbott Kinney is a long street in Venice that is filled with awesome restaurants, shops, and places to hangout. Everyone loves hanging out here and there is always live music playing and it is quite and popular spot, I even saw Jaden Smith here one time with his girlfriend! I like walking up and down this street because it is a long road to just soak in California culture. Now you have to be careful because many of the places are constantly opening and then closing because many of the shops here are pop up shops, so the places you may go once, won't be there again. Either way, some of my favorite places are the Salt and Straw ice cream place, the TOM flagship store, and Salt Air.Abbott Kinney
Muscle Beach
This place is a well known tourist attraction and destination in Venice. Muscle Beach is a Beach in Venice where there are all sorts of cool jungle gyms for adults and everyone to exercise on. It's pretty cool to go sometimes because you will see these huge, ripped body builders there and you're just like WOAH! But I do advise you to be careful, don't do anything that isn't safe. Venice skatepark is also nearby and that is a really fun place that is all colorful with graffiti, art, and music! The beach is just a walk away for you to go play with the waves and maybe even see some sea lions!
Venice has a lot of things for you to explore. I hoped you enjoyed this post and let me know if you went to any of the places or resturants! Have a great day <3
